Fedora ("we," "us") operates fedoralounge.vip and related services. We respect your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

What we collect

  • Invitation requests: your name, email address, optional phone number, campaign tags, and the referring site domain that brought you to the request form. We do not store the referring page or its query string.
  • Application data: full name, email, phone number, home address, referral source, and any free-text responses you submit on the membership application.
  • Employment applications: the contact details, work history, availability, responses, resume, source tags, and interview-scheduling information you submit for an open role. We do not ask applicants for Social Security, banking, health, or identity-document information through the hiring form.
  • Event and buyout inquiries: the contact and event details you submit.
  • Session data: we set a secure, HTTP-only session cookie when you sign in to your membership pass. No third-party tracking cookies.
  • Operational logs: IP address, browser identifier, requested path, response status, and referring-site domain. We do not retain referring-page paths or query strings.
  • Aggregate analytics: cookie-free page and event counts via Plausible. Plausible processes IP and browser details transiently to count unique visitors and does not retain the raw IP address.

Why we collect it

Membership application data is used to process your membership, contact you about events, enforce guest policy, and maintain membership records as required by our liquor license. Employment application data is used only to evaluate candidates, communicate about the hiring process, schedule interviews, and maintain required hiring records. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

Who sees it

Invitation request data is limited to authorized administrative and general-manager staff. Membership and door records are visible only to staff who need them for their role. Employment applications and resumes are available only to authorized administrative and hiring staff. Our email delivery provider (Resend) and hosting providers (DigitalOcean and Cloudflare) process data as service sub-processors under standard US data protection terms.

Retention

We automatically delete unassigned invitation requests from the live system after 180 days. We delete an assigned request once it is at least 180 days old and its preview night ended at least 30 days earlier. If you later become a member, your separate membership record follows the member-retention schedule. Operational request logs leave the live system after 60 days. We generally retain unsuccessful employment applications for four years after the hiring decision. The hired candidate's application becomes part of the employee record and follows the applicable employee-record schedule. Records subject to a complaint, legal hold, or other recordkeeping requirement may be kept longer. Limited-access disaster-recovery backups may retain older copies until those backups age out and are not used for marketing. We keep active member records as long as you're a member, plus two years after cancellation (required by Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code). You may request deletion of inactive records, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.

Your rights

Email [email protected] to request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete inactive records. Employment applicants may also email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

Security

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are never stored in plaintext. Magic-link sign-in tokens are high-entropy and time-limited.

Age

Fedora is a 21+ establishment. Do not apply for membership if you are under 21 in Texas.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be emailed to active members.
